Phasecraft Appointed by ARPA-E to Advance Catalyst Simulation Frameworks for Hydrogen Electrolysis

Phasecraft, a UK-based quantum software startup, has been selected by ARPA-E (Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy) to lead a project focused on developing advanced simulation frameworks for hydrogen electrolysis. The initiative aims to leverage quantum computing to better understand and optimize catalysts, which are crucial for the efficiency of hydrogen production processes.

By applying quantum algorithms to model complex chemical reactions, Phasecraft intends to overcome the limitations of current classical simulation methods. This partnership highlights the growing role of quantum technology in tackling real-world sustainability and energy challenges, specifically targeting improvements in the scalability and commercial viability of green hydrogen production.
