Quantum Computing Inc. Reports Q2 2026 Financial Results: Revenue Surges to $5.6M and Fab 2 Launch via NHanced Acquisition
Quantum Computing Inc. (QCi) has announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, ending June 30, 2026. The company reported a significant increase in revenue to $5.55 million, representing a 50.4% sequential growth over Q1 2026 and a substantial rise compared to $61,000 in the same quarter of the previous year. This revenue surge was driven by expansion in integrated photonics and component portfolios, supported by the integration of Luminar Semiconductor and NuCrypt.
Operating expenses for the quarter reached $21.85 million, largely due to increased R&D efforts, sales growth, and acquisition-related transaction fees. The GAAP net loss for the quarter was $11.75 million, which marks a significant improvement from the $36.48 million loss in Q2 2025, supported by interest income from the company's $1.32 billion capital reserves.
During the quarter, QCi completed its third acquisition of 2026, securing NHanced Semiconductors for $73.1 million. Key operational highlights included the delivery of a Dirac-3 quantum optimization machine to a global consulting firm, achieving commercial readiness for the NeuraWave photonic platform with a potential $10 million framework agreement, and securing new contracts for quantum secure communications hardware.
